About us

Resilience is a Wageningen based foundation that undertakes research and gives advice. Paramount is to increase resilience in socio-ecological systems. Resilience combines new insights and research methodologies from the fields of complex systems theory and scenario analysis, on the basis of profound knowledge of sociology, economics, soil science and agronomy.

Our aim is to explore and undertake novel activities that contribute to a more sustainable use and management of natural resources. Resilience is a young, flexible and efficient organisation that successfully rounded off projects on irrigation design, global food availability, EU agri-food chains and Amazonian Black Earths.
